Margarita Elias

Margarita Elias is an attorney in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group. Her practice primarily focuses on civil litigation. Ms. Elias has successfully represented clients in cases involving breaches of contract, internal partnership and business disputes, corporate governance, fraud, trade secrets misappropriation, and general malfeasance.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Elias clerked for the Honorable Gloria M. Navarro in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, where she worked on hundreds of civil and criminal cases, provided analyses through bench memoranda, and assisted with drafting dispositions. This experience has equipped Ms. Elias with a deep understanding of court procedures and a keen ability to anticipate and address potential challenges in litigation.

Ms. Elias earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law. While completing her legal studies, she served as a student attorney in the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities. Additionally, Ms. Elias was an articles editor of the Nevada Law Journal, demonstrating her strong editorial skills and commitment to legal scholarship.
