J. Sean Benevento

J. Sean Benevento is an attorney in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group.  His practice focuses on business disputes, but he has represented a diverse array of clients in matters ranging from bet-the-company litigation to criminal appeals and domestic violence restraining order petitions.

Sean joined Garman Turner Gordon in 2024, after working as an intellectual property associate in the San Francisco office of a global law firm.  There, he gained experience in nearly every phase of litigation while defending clients from patent infringement lawsuits.

From 2023-2024, Sean clerked for the Honorable Maria Gall in Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court, where he learned the intricacies of practice before Nevada state courts.

Before earning his Juris Doctor with Honors from the George Washington University Law School, Sean worked as an aerospace engineering consultant.  Sean’s engineering background affords him a unique perspective on cases and a strong analytical approach, resulting in an ability to spot and thoroughly address potential legal pitfalls ahead of time.
